Welcome to new members Ned Libby, Cliff Porter, Jim Miles and Collin Miles!

As a member of the North - South Skirmish Association, the 5th has been an active team for over 45 years.   

Unlike most competitive shooting organizations, the N-SSA has something fun for everyone in the family. After competition is done for the day each team has their own campsite to congregate at and discuss the day's events. Most people camp out during the two to four day match. After a day of shooting and good meal at camp, we'll  hang out by the campfire telling stories and jokes or wander to other camps in search of friends (old and new). 

Our main contingent of members are located in the greater Washington DC area. We also have members located in Maryland, Austin Texas, Richmond Va. and throughout North Carolina. Anyone that is interested in the shooting of original and reproduction Civil War, muskets, carbines and revolvers for competition and fun, e-mail one of our team members. We'd be happy to introduce you to the fun we have enjoyed for years.
